çÛÁ¦ÊÓƵ's electrical and computer engineering department will highlight senior design projects during an open house Thursday [April 23] from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. in Simrall Electrical Engineering Building, which is located at 406 Hardy Rd. on the Starkville campus.
The open house, which is open to the public, will allow 16 student teams to showcase creative engineering projects developed through a semester of design work.
The 16 designs on display will include a traffic sensor to detect blind spots, a bicycle activity tracker and a safety lighting system for crosswalks. The çÛÁ¦ÊÓƵ 2015 IEEE Southeast Conference robotics team will also display its robotic entry at the open house.
Each team consists of four to five senior electrical and computer engineering students and a faculty adviser.
