STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擭ational award-winning Tupelo hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd will perform Feb. 25 at 幺力视频.
The 8 p.m. concert will be held off campus at the Mississippi Horse Park Arena in Starkville. Doors open at 7 p.m. Sponsored by the university鈥檚 student-staffed Music Maker Productions, the event is being announced with a parental advisory, due to explicit content.
General admission tickets are $25 and advance purchases may be made at , by telephoning 662-325-2930 or visiting the campus Center for Student Activities in Suite 314, Colvard Student Union.
Until Jan. 25, MSU student tickets will be $20 each with valid campus identification. Only one discounted ticket and one regular-priced ticket may be purchased per student.
Individual ticket prices increase to $30 on the day of the show.
Composed of brothers Khalif 鈥淪wae Lee鈥 Brown and Aaquil 鈥淪lim Jxmmi鈥 Brown, Rae Sremmurd鈥攖he phrase 鈥渆ar drummers鈥 read backwards鈥攔eleased a debut album last January. Titled 鈥淪remmLife鈥 (EarDrummers Entertainment and Interscope Records), it included the hit singles 鈥淣o Type鈥 and 鈥淐ome Get Her.鈥
During 2015, the album peaked at No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard 200 list.
