MSU鈥檚 Lawrence elected to vice chair of council for USAID-funded Feed the Future Innovation Labs

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥旂哿κ悠碘檚 Mark Lawrence has been elected to a leadership role on the Feed the Future Innovation Lab Council, where he will help global experts address pressing issues in food security.
Lawrence, a William L. Giles Distinguished Professor in MSU鈥檚 College of Veterinary Medicine and director of MSU鈥檚 Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Fish funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, will serve a one-year term as vice chair of the Innovation Lab Council, followed by a one-year term as chair.

The Fish Innovation Lab is managed by MSU鈥檚 Global Center for Aquatic Health and Food Security. The Innovation Lab Council advocates for Feed the Future research programs and facilitates coordination of activities amongst the 16 Feed the Future Innovation Labs as part of the U.S. Government鈥檚 global hunger and food security initiative.
